Face Off Against Tobacco on Flickr. We recently attended a community health fair event to canvas for our campaign. Our table had posters and information about tobacco products and smoking cessation assistance. People were very supportive of the campaign and were happy to provide their photo. To the surprise of our teens we even had current smokers support our campaign. One smoker claimed she’s been smoking since she was 16 years old due to peer pressure. She is still smoking but is trying to quit. When she heard about how this new legislation will help prevent youth from smoking, she was eager to support us. This avid support encouraged our teens and helped them to become more grounded with the campaign’s mission. We are very close to our 50th photo benchmark and are hoping to surpass it within the next two weeks.
